Submissions Policy

Hopscotch purchases films to distribute throughout Australia and New Zealand. The Acquisitions department is responsible for the careful selection of these films - for both theatrical and DVD release.
With all our submissions, we like to consider some information before reading anything further. If you would like to submit your film for distribution consideration, please email acquisitions@hopscotchfilms.com.au with the following information:
· Synopsis/Treatment
· Details of Writer, Director, Cast (if any attached)
· Budget level, any attachments
· Trailer (if available)

 

HOPSCOTCH FEATURES

Hopscotch Features represents an exciting collaboration between Hopscotch Films, writer John Collee and producer Andrew Mason. Combining creative talent and development, production and distribution skills, it is one of the select recipients of Screen Australia's prestigious Enterprise Scheme. By integrating skills across the spectrum of a film's development, production and distribution, Hopscotch Features is well positioned to deliver a slate of commercially driven films by established and emerging Australian filmmakers both domestically and internationally. The films will be consistent with the existing Hopscotch brand - a brand which has firmly entrenched itself in the international film community to be synonymous with quality projects. This ‘one-stop shop' facility will provide established and emerging creative talent a forum for sharing information and skills and collaborating across projects. Hopscotch Features is committed to producing 2-3 features each year.
The Hopscotch Features team is currently accepting submissions. With each project, we require the submission of a one page story outline and a short biography on the filmmaking team/individual before considering the project further.
