201 Screens Later...

29 Jul 2010

Lisa Cholodenko's The Kids are All Right has blown the US away. The film intially released on just 7 screens, but has now expanded to 201 screens to keep up with cinema demand.

The film has now grossed a respectable $4,951,644 and a $13,173 screen average and we reckon this means the film is right on track to be a considerable mainstream breakout. It's quite rightly being dubbed the next Little Miss Sunshine - another family dramedy that came out of The Sundance Film Festival. Little Miss Sunshine ended up grossing $59,891,098 and got nominated for an Academy Award for best picture...so here's hoping!!
