Hopscotch Features

Hopscotch Features represents an exciting collaboration between Hopscotch, John Collee (writer of Master and Commander, Happy Feet, Creation, the upcoming Ripley's Believe It Or Not) and Andrew Mason (producer of The Matrix, Dark City, Tomorrow: When The War Began). Combining creative talent with development, production, distribution and marketing expertise, it has been one of the select recipients of Screen Australia's Enterprise Scheme. By integrating skills across the spectrum of a film's development, production and distribution, Hopscotch Features is well-positioned to deliver a slate of commercially driven films by established and emerging Australian filmmakers both domestically and internationally. The films will be consistent with the existing Hopscotch brand - a brand which has firmly entrenched itself in the international film community to be synonymous with quality projects. This ‘one-stop shop' facility will provide established and emerging creative talent a forum for sharing information and skills and collaborating across projects. Hopscotch Features is committed to producing 2-3 features each year.

The Hopscotch Features team is currently accepting submissions from experienced filmmaking teams.

We require the submission of a short biography on the team, outlining past experience, before we will consider the project. You will then be notified by email if you are invited to submit a one-page outline. Please be advised, we will only consider submissions from filmmaking teams with solid track records. We do not accept unsolicited material.
