Skyline
SKYLINE OPENS IN CINEMAS IN NEW ZEALAND ON DECEMBER 2, AND IS CURRENTLY IN CINEMAS IN AUSTRALIA.
Skyline is an enthralling sci-fi thriller directed and produced by the Brothers Strause, whose company Hydraulx created the visual effects for films including Avatar, X-Men-3, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button and 300.
In the city of Los Angeles, after a late night party, a group of friends are awoken in the dead of the night by an eerie light beaming through the window. Like moths to a flame, the light source is drawing people outside before they suddenly vanish into the air. They soon discover an other-worldly force is swallowing the entire human population off the face of the earth. Now our band of survivors must fight for their lives as the world unravels around them.
Welcome to the Australian and New Zealand site for all things Skyline. Here you'll find everything you need to know about the film, the directors and writer, the cast, and how, with their company Hydraulx, the Strause Brothers have proven you can make a big VFX film with a small crew.
On this page there's stacks on images including the two official posters, plus the trailer and teaser trailer, and three TV spots (which haven't even hit televsion here yet! So see them here first.)
We'll also be posting some official clips from the film, and an exclusive interview with the Brothers Strause in coming weeks.
And check out the tabs on the left for heaps more information about Skyline, and more interviews with the Brothers Strause and the cast. There's also an in-depth (and funny) interview with Colin and Greg Strause, cast members Donald Faison, Brittany Daniel and David Zayas and writer Liam O'Donnell here.
